Syllabus

Objective of Subject
This course introduces students to the concepts of management. It explains evolution of the management discipline. The major functions of management such as planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling are covered.

Learning Outcome of Subject

At the completion of the subject, students should be able to:

* Understand the concept of management, organizational culture and environment.
* Have the ability to apply the skills of planning, organising leading and controlling in management.
